FTSI Spin Machine for Sprockets

FTSI Spin Machine: Sprockets

The FTSI Spin machine flame hardens sprockets. It does so using flame heads, heating the sprockets at the teeth and roots. It then lowers the sprocket into the quench tank to complete the process. After raising the sprocket out of the quench tank, the machine is ready for a new sprocket to be put in. Once this procedure is complete, the sprocket’s teeth and roots have a harder surface, making them a great deal more resistant to wear.
